PWP HISTORY
Leading regional and national companies in the bakery, snack food, grocery store, produce, foodservice and confectionery industries have made PWP Industries their key supplier. Our packing solutions are utilized in hundreds of retail outlets. From the beginning of its history, PWP has been dedicated to being a leader in innovation, quality, and customer service in the food packaging industry.
PWP Industries was founded in 1998 and became part of HPC Industries, LLC in 2001. In 2002, manufacturing facilities were consolidated into a renovated state-of-the-art facility in Vernon, California. This consolidation resulted in a substantial increase in PWP Industries’ thermoforming capacity and made it one of the country’s largest APET packaging production facilities under one roof. In order to support its growing national presence, a second plant was established in 2003 in Mineral Wells, West Virginia. In 2006, PWP expanded its production facilities in West Virginia to include polypropylene production and opened a third plant in Abilene, TX. In April of 2010, PWP was acquired by the Pactiv Corporation.
